Rooted in Nature,
Guided by Tradition

story of ritasa
rit | rāsā
Derived from the Sanskrit words:
- ‘Rit’ meaning order of the world
- ‘Rasa’ meaning nectar juice or the essence
In India, the Ritasa were a group of people who were responsible for preserving and passing down the stories and traditions of their communities through oral storytelling.
As the term "Ritasa" is still synonymously used to refer to modern day storytellers, we aim to preserve traditions with the essence of storytelling as the custodians of tradition.
Our journey began when we recognized the growing approaches adopted like food adulteration, poor farming practices and the use of chemical pesticides as a result of mass production.
Therefore, we aim to create a space where natural practices meet modern needs for rest and rejuvenation. It’s more than just a lifestyle, it’s an invitation to return to a more meaningful and sustainable way of living.
To inspire a tech-free, holistic lifestyle rooted in ancient practices. We offer an environment for off-the-grid living, promoting well-being through natural practices and nourishing food choices.

our philosophy
At Ritasa, we honor natural farming practices that nurture our land. Our approach reflects respect for nature's wisdom, guiding us toward harmonious living.
We aim to protect the natural environment and maintain biodiversity by creating a flourishing habitat for our indigenous species, and strive to achieve this through practices such as cattle rearing, beekeeping, vermiculture and our flourishing “Nakshatra gardens”.
